Hello! My name is Jen and I am the client care coordinator with Breathe Eat Sleep Talk. I am a mom to 3 little boys who keep me very busy and I am so blessed to be their momma. I met Jeannie through my kids’ myo therapy a few years ago. I am mostly a stay at home mom right now, but I am also an Occupational Therapist specializing in Lymphedema therapy. I love helping this patient population and have a free blog for lymphedema and lipedema patients that I try to update weekly.

I am a lover of all things outdoors! Hiking, camping, biking, swimming, playing with my kids at the park, and overall exploring. Traveling and teaching my kids through play and exploration gives me so much joy. We are also active in our church, and I love designing biblical items for my kids’ spiritual growth.

Hi, I’m Jeannie Nelson, mom of three, a forever learner and super passionate about helping others. I’m an Arizona Native, who graduated from ASU with my degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences, and my M.S. from NAU in Clinical Speech-Language Pathology. I spent a short time in Chicago after grad school, but came back to Arizona to marry the love of my life.

I’m a mom of three fantastic tiny humans who are my everything! I’ve always been passionate about speech-language, but since having my children this passion has grown. I now have not only the education and experience; I have the mama brain and heart. When my middle child couldn’t breastfeed or gain weight, we discovered she had Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs) including lip and tongue ties. This took me in a deep dive on how to help her and brought me to the field of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy.

Now I specialize in speech sound disorders (especially those kids who are super hard to understand, and that tricky /r/ sound), feeding therapy (toddlers are my fave), and myofunctional therapy for ages 4 and up! I’ve found a new love working with adults, as I’ve found many issues with myself as I’ve learned this specialty field.
